Make Summer Cycle Extra Special!

Personal travel log to check off each destination once completed, download from the Promo Kit

We're excited to introduce a brand-new challenge to your CyberCycle lineup this summer: Summer Cycle!

Starting June 15th, this all-new challenge is designed to keep your residents moving consistently, with the spirit of travel woven into every mile. Many older adults no long have the chance to travel like they used to, so we've created a virtual journey that brings the excitement of iconic global destinations to them...all from the comfort of your fitness center.

How it Works:

Residents "travel" to 10 famous landmarks - from the Eiffel Tower to the Grand Canyon - by viking the real-life distance it would take to explore that destination. Each completed ride earns them a virtual badge, and they can track their progress on a printable travel itinerary included in your promo kit.

Note: While the games and roads don't visually show these landmarks, the mileage goals for each set of challenge dates are inspired by the actual distance it would take to ride through each destination in real life.

Why Promote This Challenge?

  • Inspires daily movement and summer motivation

  • Easy for all fitness levels to join in - even completing one city is a win!

  • Sparks conversations about past travels and future dreams

  • Builds community, purpose, and fun through themed participation

Whether riders make it to one stop or all ten, they will hopefully feel accomplished and included!

Take the Challenge to the Next Level: Fun Ideas for your Community!

  • Post Riders' personal travel logs on the wall to showcase progress and who is adventuring to the most cities. Virtual leaderboards are great, but there's nothing like bringing the leaderboards to life with pen and paper. The Personal travel logs are provided in the Promo Kit.

  • Encourage Storytelling: create a "Where Have YOU Traveled" board with construction paper (whatever you use for your bulletin area) where you list all the Summer Cycle destinations and invite residents to write their name or bring in a photo under any location they've visited in their life.

  • Host a World Traveler Celebration party for those who collected all of the badges!

Thank you for helping your residents stay active, connected, and inspired this summer.

Let the Journey Begin!
