About Go Bridge: Dive into the thrilling world of Bridge, the ultimate card game of wit and partnership! Bid, strategize, and play your way to victory in this classic battle of minds. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to the game, Bridge offers endless hours of challenging fun and social interaction.

The basics

  • Bridge is played by 2 teams of 2 players each. You are the south, your teammate is sitting across from you as the north player. You’re playing against East - West.

  • Each player receives 13 cards

    • All players play 1 card at a time. 4 cards are called a trick. Whoever plays the highest card in the suit wins the trick and leads any card in any suit for the next trick

    • Whoever wins the bid is called the Declarer. Their partner becomes the Dummy.

    • The dummy’s cards are revealed to everyone at the table and the Declarer plays for the Dummy

    • The bid determines how many tricks (4 cards) your team will take, in addition to the 6 tricks you need to win.

    • The hierarchy of suits ascending from left to right

      • club <diamond < heart< spade < NT

    • The stakes increase from top to bottom

      • 1<2<3<4<5<6<7

    • It is best to place a bet on the suit whose top cards (J, Q, K, A) you have in your hand.

    • If you are not sure about a bet, take a look at your partner’s choice. You can also just pass and not place a bet. Let’s say you bid 3, Hearts. If your bid wins, you and your partner must take 9 (6+3) tricks to win the contract (bid). Hearts will be the trump suit in t trick this current game.

  • “Bots," are computer-controlled opponents to race against. Turning on “bots” (virtual opponents) make the race more competitive, even when you're playing alone. If you prefer a more relaxed ride without any virtual competition, opt to ride solo.

  • How To Play

You can always use the touch screen, but for a more comfortable ride:

    • Upright:

      • Steer to choose your cards

      • Press “A” to play a card

    • Recumbent:

      • Push the handlebar down in the direction of which card you want to navigate to

      • Press the Green button to play a card

  • Points are awarded to your team for

    • Trump suit of the winning bid

    • Bet size and your position in the drawing (did your bet win?)

    • Number of tricks your team gets

    • And of course, you can receive bonus points
