FAQ
-
The event runs throughout the entire month of February. Riders can pedal any day, any time, and their miles will count toward their team's total.
Riders can join the challenge at any time before February 1 and begin seeking pledge support as soon as they’ve registered.
-
For the Rally 2026, we are not requiring teams to register.
All YMCAs that have functioning bikes with active eLive subscriptions will be added to the fundraising challenge.
Riders will be required to register. Details to come on Rider registration.
-
Riders must have created an account and be signed-on to the bike in order for their workouts to count. Guest rides will not count towards Rally totals. Account registration can be completed on the bike with the GO series bikes, on the Blue Goji app (coming mid-January 2025), or online at expresso.com/Register.
In addition to having an account, riders will be required to “Join” the Rally for the Y 2026.
Each rider must use their own ID. If it is determined that more than one rider is using the same ID then the rider with that ID will be disqualified from the individual standings and the miles will be removed from the team totals.
-
Supporters are not required to have a bike user account.
-
You can ride any Road on your Expresso bike, play any Dragon Chase Game, and even play any of the new Blue Goji games if you have the new Blue Goji Bike! For a ride to count it must be started and finished during tournament play dates.
Manual/Train/Pedal Mode miles will NOT count towards your individual or team totals.
Bikes must be connected to the internet with eLive and all rides must be reported directly from the bike. Neither team nor individual totals will be adjusted for rides not reported by the bikes, crashes, flat tires, missed workouts, or any other down time.
Blue Goji reserves the right to omit any miles deemed "unrealistic in nature” from the Rally for the Y Leaderboard. Rides in question include Coin Toss and Downhill Drama - you are still welcome to enjoy these games, but any misuse of gameplay mechanics to achieve excessive mileage accumulation with minimal pedaling will result in those miles being invalidated. -
You will be able to edit your pledge page in the Blue Goji app or on the online leaderboard.
We will release tutorial videos mid-December 2025.
-
A pledge is a promise to donate—supporters commit to giving a specific amount based on how far a rider pedals during Rally for the Y. For example, someone might pledge $1 per mile for a rider who logs 50 miles.
At the end of the Rally, we’ll send supporters an email showing their rider’s final mileage and instructions on how to complete their donation. We also provide pledge reports in Back Office so YMCAs can easily follow up and ensure every pledge turns into real community impact.
-
It’s important to know that Blue Goji does not process donations. We are a fundraising platform that tracks pledges, but it’s up to each YMCA team and rider to follow up with their supporters and ensure those pledges are fulfilled through their YMCA’s official donation platform.
